FAQ

How would you describe your family photography style?

I try and keep my family photography very natural, capturing the action as it happens, so it's lots of fun and not too much posing. I feel this will bring out the true character of your children and will also make the session more enjoyable.

What time do the sessions take place?

The ideal time is in the morning, as early as possible. This is for a few reasons: the early morning light is lovely, children can often be at their best after a good night's sleep and also if we go to the beach it tends to be less busy. An hour before sunset is also great and the sky is usually amazing. For sessions in your home we don't need a specific time so we just find a time that suits your family.

How do I view the photos after the session?

A sneak peak will be sent within 2 days of the shoot. A week or two after the shoot your edited images will be available for viewing in a private online gallery.

Should we bring anything to the session?

It's great if you can bring along a few props, balls, kites, bubbles – a blanket is always a winner. Snacks are also a good idea to boost your child's energy levels and some refreshments for the hole family.

What should we all wear?

Exactly what you like – you all want to look and feel like yourselves. As a guide simple clothes tend to work best and avoiding logos and stripes is preferable. Layering works really well for creating different looks and a change of outfit can be a good idea for very little ones.

How do I book a session with you?

Just get in contact and we'll find a suitable date. All I need then is a 30% deposit to confirm your session. This payment is non-refundable.

What happens if my child is ill or something personal comes up?

I am happy to reschedule if this happens, I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible.
