This weekend we all celebrate our Moms, I am very lucky to be the the mom of a very sweet human. I just took a look back to our last Family Photoshoot together and literally can not believe how much this boy has changed.
Motherhood is not always pretty, it's HARD, and it's Soft, it's the most beautiful shitshow you will ever experience... But no matter how hard or easy it gets, it's the one thing you don't give up on, the one thing you cannot imagine loving less than with every single fiber of you. It's incredible. They say it's your heart walking outside of your body and it truly is.
For me, motherhood didn't just happen, unexplained infertility, but with some help, we finally had our baby boy, I never believed I could love anyone more than my husband, but when you first hold that tiny little human... the love that fills you at that moment is the first time you experience unconditional love. It's been a very adventurous ride with this little guy, I'm a super proud mamma.
This Mother's Day I will spend the day with my little Bodhi, we will take a few longer breaths and appreciate each other a little bit more. We hope you share this Mother's Day with the ones you love most and celebrate all the wonder these kids bring to our lives, not only rest from the chores.
